What kind of brahma?

There all around nearly a year old, they lay amazing eggs that weigh around 60-70+ grams I had one today that weighed 88g I was amazed!!

Thanks for the site

Well from Looking at the pictures I would hazard a guess at the first being a buff and the other are very buff looking but have a fair amount of white so I'm confused lol

Did you buy these from a specialist breeder? I'm sorry, but none of them look like year-old Brahmas to me.

I brought them from a small holding when I first started and was told they were brahmas could they be mixed with something else?
Perhaps Cochin or something.

That's dis appointing :-(

I wonder if the person you got them from had several different colors of Brahmas running together. The brown with the white tail has a color pattern similar to a red sex-link. This is where a red male is crossed with a silver female. The girls grow up to be mostly red and the boys mostly white and you can tell which is which at hatch. Could they be a buff brahma ( or whatever red variety is available in the UK) roo and a light brahma hen's babies?

Hopefully someone who knows more about English standards and genetics can tell if that is plausible.
