I purchased 6 RIR (about 2 weeks old now) last week. One didn't make it. We purchased another pullet (?possibly?) from another store the next day. The guy wasn't very helpful, didn't really know the breed. He also had the chick dyed orange for Easter. We purchased the chick almost a week after Easter so it is losing the dye (thank GOODNESS!). Now that the "dye job" is fading, my chicken is white. I know my other 5 are RIR (all females). Can anyone tell me what the larger one is (it is about 1-2 weeks older than the other 5, that is my guess)? [IMG]

I'm going to guess it's a White Leghorn. I see a single comb there. It could also be a White Plymouth Rock. Mostly likely White Leghorn though.
