What kind of canvas can I use on my dome pens?

You can use any kind you desire. The type you use will determine how long they last.
Have no Idea How your dome pens look, or size???.
Also have no Idea on your weather???
Here is an evaluation.
9 MIL silver tarps will last about 2 years.
18 OZ Vinyl Tarps will last in excess of 10 years.
Another option are these tarps that are recycled bill board signs. Reasonably priced and will probably last near 10 years.
