Only chickens have combs, so that's the only thing it could be. It's just built a bit wonky.

It could be a one of the breeds like Shamo that have super long legs and necks. Time will tell.That is what is confusing us, also the super long legs and neck
I thought a Turkey's snood, and certain facial features of other Galliformes are described as combs? I've seen some older male poults with the beginning of a snood that looks similar to a comb.Only chickens have combs, so that's the only thing it could be. It's just built a bit wonky.

I am leaning toward a chicken with some gamebird or junglefowl blood in its parentage.Hi- we recently rescued some animals from a hoarding situation. They had chickens, turkeys and peacocks. Anyone have any idea what this could be? It’s much bigger than our other chicks and super vocal.

I was seriously panicked for a moment wondering what's that huge red tumor/prolapse, etc hanging under it's belly.. only to realize it's you're finger!![]()
I will agree on this point with another poster who said possible game chicken cross..That is what is confusing us, also the super long legs and neck
