By the size of the legs and the general shape, I'd guess a male meat bird of some sort. Can you get more pictures?Any idea what this is?

I'm thinking you've got Red Rangers, which are often gotten from TSC. But I don't personally raise them, so that is just a guess. Where'd you get them?Taken today
Any idea if Pullet or Roo?Very well could be Red Rangers. They look to heavy for Production Reds or New Hamps to me.

We have six OEGB pullets and a cockrel. The roo, Blueberry is my daughters pet. He is top roo in his flock. We can still pick him up and he will come check out if we have treats when we go outside. He doesn't fly up on us any more, but the only time he is a booger is when he is ready to be put down. He pecks. We have a pair of black OEGB in the brooder. She is very friendly and curious. Our most friendly birds though, are our two Buttercups.Yes the hens can be quite friendly
I haven't kept a rooster long enough to see if they are very friendly or not.
