It looks like a possible Golden Laced Cochin/Partridge Silkie. Could also have some Polish in there somewhere. Who know if his parents were even pure! He is GEORGOUS though!

Thanks to everyone for your responses! I tried to get a picture of his feet this morning, but he is pretty skittish. His legs do look pretty weird compared to my other birds, so I will definitely try to get a closer look and pursue treatment for my new feathered friend!

Also, my Facebook friends decided to name "her" Amelia Egghart, but now maybe I can call him Cluck Norris.

I enlarged that leg, and still can't tell... it all depends on what those feathers are or are not hiding. If the red color I circled is his leg, yeah, I'd say scaly leg mites, since that leg should be black. If the area behind the blue is his leg, and the red is just some random thing on the ground, then it's an optical illusion.
