what kind of chicken is this??

Can anyone tell me what kind of chicken she is?? my hens are starting to lay eggs and I having a hard time figuring out which ones are laying.

You'd know hers-She is a black Copper Maran and she will lay very dark brown eggs

Oooh - excited to see this photo - I have a BCM chick and happy to see she will be so pretty when she grows up.

Was yours black with kind of a yellow breast when she was a chick?

She was all black when she was a chick. As her feathers came in, her head gradually turned a reddish-gold color.

x2 Most BCMs have sparse feathering on their legs as well. I'm guessing black sex link.

Does not look like any of my FBCM. None of them have that lacing in the neck. If it is it looks more like my roos. Actually looks more like my Oliver egger = Easter egger in the front and Marans in the back
