what kind of chicken is this?

    This is our head hen and we have no clue what breed of chicken she is. (sry the pics arent the greatest, not the stillest chicken lol)[​IMG])

    not sure, got her a week ago and they havent started laying yet.

    I say she's a mutt of some kind, with New Hampshire or related production layer behind her. She's not pure though, if she is, she's poor quality (more than normal) as her plumage color looks almost barred or patterned or something.

    She kind of looks like Production mixed with a Rock not sure though. just guessing about the dark feathers. I think the hens I have are production too so not sure.
