The male is a Cuckoo Lemon Pyle OEGB, and the female is a Lemon or Red Pyle OEGB.My daughter just bought this pair based purely on “cute” factor, but we don’t know what they are. What are they? Are they young and will change looks a lot more? How big will they get?
I thought that too..I guessed Lemon for the guy, but the female seems more red.I'm guessing they're OEGBs, so that's as big as they're getting. The hen in the background looks like she might be Red Pyle. The cockerel may be as well too, though usually a male Red Pyle has darker red coloring.
At least, she’s a bit darker.I thought that too..I guessed Lemon for the guy, but the female seems more red.
Both are lemon. It's produced by the Ig, or gold inhibitor gene, which is a red diluter. It leaves the salmon breasts on the female red, & neck yellowish.I thought that too..I guessed Lemon for the guy, but the female seems more red.

I don't know what that word means. Thanks so much for the help! Are the OE bantams as apt to be cantankerous as regular OE? Right now they both seems very friendly? Do they look “grown” should we expect them to get bigger?
