What kind of coop bedding do you use?

I have heard people use many different kinds of materials to make coop cleaning easier but I (and maybe you to) want to know which material is most popular. If you choose the "other" catagory please specify what your other material/materials are/is in a reply to this thread.

I voted 'other' as I use coffee chaff. It's so soft and fluffy that poop just disappears into it. But being light and fluffy also mean it gets blown around by the wind if it's blowing in the coop door. It sure smells good though!

I use straw mostly, but I add pine shavings in also.

I use Pine Shavings. They are so fluffy, absorbent, and they smell wonderful!

I currently use pine shavings, deep litter style.
But planning to switch to oak leaves this fall. I have a couple acres of leaves and if I gather a few barrels before the fall rain I should be set for the year.

Pine shavings, that's what I was told when I started raising chickens. Old habits I guess lol
