ok. so we have found out...they are chipmunks! wow - they are so destructive!!!

so now...anyone know how to get rid of them? they are everywhere!!! we have lived here for over 6 years and have never had them!

Gophers. I just had to kill off about 20 of them that were annihilating my garden area. Have no problem with them on the rest of the 4 acres but that spot...Nope!

We have a backyard FULL of chipmunks. Here in Pa, though, they are a protected species (SERIOUSLY - I know... go figure?!)
Not that the game commission is gonna see me out there taking care of them. We use mousetraps on the back porch. They tear up our yard & landscaping. Our dog gets them, mostly.
