What kind of dishwasher do you have?

I know what you mean. I shopped for a new one a year ago, trying to find a reasonably priced one with good reviews. I finally bought a Kitchenaid and I love it. Don't remember what I paid but I think it was around $400.00ish. Been using it a year, no problems, does a really good job plus it's super quiet unlike my old one. It's black and has the stainless steel interior with metal arms instead of the cheap plastic arms so many of them seem to have. Good luck!

We had a kitchenaid for years and it was the best. When we moved and got a new one we got a Maytag. It was a "top rated best buy" thing according to Consumer reports.
I don't like it. It is hard to load and it doesn't clean very well. IMHO

We've had a black Whirpool for years & years, it works great, use it a lot, no problems. I don't remember how much it cost, but I can bet you it was one of their cheaper models.
