Doesn't look Akita. Mixed sled dog breeding; eskimo mix maybe. The ONLY way to tell is DNA testing. Samoyed should have produced longer hair. Enjoy your dog!

Perhaps OP has a similar situation as my Pip. I mentioned Pip had 5 pups. Yes. She was a rescue. I adopted her the day she weaned her pups. Then I had her spayed. Fortunately all of her pups were adopted including one that went to my granddaughter.

Def some kind of husky/mix with that tail. Looks mostly on the Akita side to me personally
