You will not be able to have the ducks and chickens run together. I don't know your set up but male ducks can and will injure chickens when trying to mate them. Your ducks will have to be kept apart from your chickens.

The ducks and the chickens are in different Pins. The ducks are in an eight by 4 pen and the chickens are elsewhere. I know not to put them together Thanks though for helping Funny though that they try and mate with them lol. But all jokes aside they in a closed pin that is 8ft by 4ft and with plenty of water to swim in, and all that. So no worries on that.



Got me some more mallards. Least that's what I was told they was. We have them separated from the adults because when we did put them in there, they were kind of bullying them and even though they were not biting them they kept them in the far corner all the time. We have a pan of water in there for them to play in. Its only about 2 to 3 inches deep if that; just enough for them to get in and get a little wet and get back out.
