what kind of ducks are these

Second one is a pekin for sure....
the first one is a mallard or rouen. How large is it compared to the pekin?

I would agree with Vfem, unless you have cross breeds. The difference between Mallard and Rouen is the size. If the one is smaller than the Pelin, it is probably a Mallard.

I wasn't sure if my little duck was a mallard or a rouen. But since, at 3 weeks old, Bungie is the same size as my 4 week old khaki, I am guessing Roeun!

Some say you can tell by the eye stripes. Rouens have more of a 2 slash look even if the bottom one is faint. Mallards have more of a dot.

Looks like your Pekin may have a crest. I love those cotton ball poofs on top of their heads.

I have a 2 black and white chicks and 1 has a crest, also I have 2 grey and white chicks. I just cannot remember what kind they are. I must just be losing my mind lately.

I just bought home 4 of those mallard wanna be's and a tall all black duckling than runs really fast...runner of some sort...straight run ducks from TS here in Lakeland. Time will tell!
