No, I thought it might be dirt at first when my daughter brought them to me, but once I looked more than a glance I saw that they are part of the egg!

You shouldnt put them in the frig if you are going to incubate them, leave them at room temp.I have heard of someone do an experment hatching eggs that had been in the frig but i wouldnt put them in the frig unless you were wanting to do an experimentYippee! That was a complete surprise! I googled turkey eggs and that is exactly what they look like. We're going to put these in the fridge, but will get an incubator tomorrow. We're in Florida, but everything we read said that they are normally at least 8-9 months old before they lay, so we were thinking next spring at the earliest. This is exciting!
