What Kind of Food?

I bought a 4 month old black Silkie. What type of food should she be eatting? Can she eat what my hens are eatting?

I wouldn't give her laying pellets, yet. I would keep her on starter until she starts laying.

If you keep them together put them all on grower feed and put out oyster shell for the hens.

I disagree. At 4 months old (16 weeks) I think it will be fine for her to eat layer feed.
