What kind of frizzle?

Frizzle x frizzle = frazzle.

I had suspicion that OP's bird may be a frazzle.

What makes a frazzle different than a frizzle? Is there something changed about the bird or is it just a word for frizzle x frizzle?

Feathers are brittle and break very easily. They are often bald from feather breakage.

That is what has been in the back of my mind. I was hoping maybe not - she doesn’t seem quite as bad of frazzle as some of the pictures of frazzles online, but her feathers are definitely different than my other Cochin frizzles. Thanks for your response!

She's a frazzle. I have one just like her but red. She's looked different than her hatch mates since they started feathering in. Her feathers break really easily and she's much smaller than the other two frizzles I have. Other than that she seems fine.
