Frizzles are really pretty!If it’s not too cold where you live it might be fun to try some frizzles! Or maybe jubilee Orpingtons. I always wanted some of those.

I’ll check eBay!Do some creeping around your area and see who is selling eggs on the roadside and if they have a rooster or not. Maybe even slip a note in their money box to ask about their breeds. I hatched out half a dozen from some eggs my dad brought home and I got a pretty decent variety of colors. 1 with feathered legs, a couple with muffs and beards, barred, black, even one that appears to be barred and laced!
Also hatched 5 BYM from a dozen I bought off ebay. Took some extensive searching to find a seller not too far away, with decent reviews, detailed info on the flock etc. Ended up with 2 frizzles and 3 random mixes, one of which lays lovely dark olive speckled eggs. Surprises are truly the best!
