What kind of hen is this?

Dunno...my EE by the time she was that size (even smaller) had MUFF’s really noticeable muff’s her beard came in about 10-12 weeks.
Never saw her earlobes. Just sayin.
I don't have any hens with muffs. I don't have ANY chickens with muffs. I don't have any chickens that match any type of EEs. It's strange, but I think she must be the EE.
 
You have lovely girls! Wow, I like a good mystery. I may have to order a mystery box of pullets sometime just to see what I get. :)

Or a Whiting true blue. We've had 6, and only one has muffs. The others are clean faced and all look nothing alike color wise. However they all are built like Leghorns, which can't be said of our EEs.

Interesting notion. I guess McMurray does sell those. The only thing I think I know for sure about her is that she's my blue egger.
