I think I've only seen 1 Mustang so far. Really? We have 2, and I know several other people who have rescued Mustangs. They're so very hardy, smart (and talk about "trail-wise"!), sure-footed, and on and on...
Oh yea, they can be a bit "bull-headed", but I think that's because of their survival instinct. You really have to convince them that you are trustworthy of their efforts. Trust is everything!
I have a registered paint gelding named Chili Man aka Chili.
This picture is from my last horse show with him on 10/03/09.
Me and Chili swimming over the summer.
My other horse is a Quarab, Hawk, that used be be my hunter horse but has turned into my mom's horse, so now we can ride together.
In this picture I am at an obstable trail ride and this obstacle was goind through a trail with live farm animals and Hawk was showing how much arab he had in him.

I would LOVE to get my hands on a mustang.
Maybe one day
There are thousands of Mustangs needing to find homes RIGHT NOW!!! Just google "BLM Mustang adoptions" and you'll be hooked up. Also, there are several groups out there that rescue the "rescued" Mustangs - the horses that proved to be too much horse for the "rescuer" and need training and new homes. Through the BLM, the horses cost $125(!), plus proof that you own property and have a fenced section with shelter. At the adoption center (usualy a fair ground), you have to DRAW a picture of the fenced area (no barbed wire allowed) and show up with a non-drop-gate trailer (swing doors only).
Anyway, if you want a Mustang, there are Mustangs needing homes!

HA his eye in the last pic! Your Chili horse is gorgeous! Did you tattoo his eye or is that natural?
From everyone I asked it is all natural. Hawk was being special that day because it was cold out.
Hmmm...it's cool. I've seen both natural & tattooed paints like that before...the "specialness" of your part Arab is funny--I have an Andalusian x Arab and she has those days, too!
