What kind of maran?

My 5 original BCMs are from Meyers also. The 3 hens don't lay super dark but beautiful none the less. Fortunately my best roo came from a dark egg so the pullets are laying darker than their dams are.

To my knowledge, they are super hard to distinguish apart between the 2 in females.
