what kind of netting an wire do you use

looking to build my pheseant pen for next spring an was wondering were everyone gets there netting from an what size they get an maybe even give me a ballpark figure as to what you pay thanks alot jim

They have several varieties of woven netting, depending on the size of the birds.

We use 2 x 4 inch welded wire for the sides and on the inside of that from the ground up about 2 feet we put chicken wire. On the top we use 2 inch avaian netting

I use 1 inch galvinized poultry netting by 6ft. high. A 50 ft. roll runs about $50.00, After iput up the netting, I go around the bottom on the outside of the pen with 1/2 hardware cloth,2 or 3ft. high,this is to predator proof it some. Raccoons will break wire,i have had it happen acouple of times. Also solar lights called night guards work good on predators after you get your pens built.

The Poultry Wire Was $98.95 For A 56 Inch High By 150ft Long Roll. The Wire Cloth Is 24 inch High 10ft Long 10.95 Per Roll. I Cut What Was Left Of The Poultry Wire Down The Middle And Made My Pen About 7ft High.This Is What It Looks Like.
