What kind of personalities do your chickens have?

I didn't know much about chickens a year ago, just the basics as i studied up to own them, but I thought they were mindless
livestock, just eating and laying eggs.

Was I in for surprise! they are sweet and all have different personalities, and habits and i've even begun to notice which hen likes what treat the best.

Share what you notice or your thoughts on your feather babies.

I have 21 chickens
Fuzz-Buzz is my champ showmanship roo has the funniest personality he hops and tip toes around everywhere lol
Millie is Fuzz-buzz's "wife" and I swear it was love at first sight when they met

Lolli is a sweet girl but she can be very shy
Penny is literally the opposite
Mango was sweet but then I realized that he was a roo, so now he hates me for some reason lol
Java is sweet
Paxton is VERY sweet he loves me

Soulè is also very sweet
Frances sweet but sometimes rude lol
Zinnia ALSO very sweet
Sugar foot IS MY BABY

she (him?) is one of my favs, but I don't know what gender yet. But I raised her from a baby, so she thinks I'm her mom haha
And 10 other babies that I don't know what gender they are lol

I have 10 and basically in order of pecking order:

Ginger our RIR is the boss and keeps everyone in line. All birds must bow to her wishes, except Red.

Red is Ginger's "sister" RIR not quite as controlling as Ginger, but still a dominate bird perhaps 2nd in pecking order or maybe even above GInger, just less bossy.

Clara is one of our Easter Eggers- she's the most skittish of all of our birds, hates to be handled. High on pecking order, despite being an EE.

Missy is our Jersey Giant, large enough that she's mostly left alone minus occasionally peck from RIRs or Clara, very food oriented.

Partridge Rock (Never got a name, just Partridge)- another bossy bird, but not quite so high on pecking order. Absolutely hates our newest additons- 2 Polish.

Butterball- our Buff Cochin.... is the stereotypical blonde. Very ditzy, and also very food oriented.

Sonic- one of our new Polish, has recently found a place in pecking order above EEs. Still mainly stays with her "sister" Thinks she's big and tough, has a lot of attitude- will attack legs and bite.

RIver- EE, curious and friendly unlike Clara. Gets jealous of attention given to our "last EE"- Cyberhen

Cyberhen-EE has always been lowest on pecking order, except perhaps now with Polish has moved up slightly. Very sweet, but gets chased off by the more dominant birds.

Storm- Maybe lowest on pecking order as of now. Very attached to Sonic. Will scream when she can't find her "sister." Skittish but easy to catch due to crest obscuring vision from behind.

Aww so sweet!! How old are they?

Well, we litterally just got 8 more chicks like a couple hours ago lol, so now I have 29. Most of them are chicks, but a few are grown, about 5 of them are. We just moved so that's why we have mostly chicks.

That's true I have the hardest time with those in the middle of the pecking order as in are they number 4 or five? I swear sometimes what goes on is like a chicken soap opera.... "As the Chicken turns" lol
