What kind of predator did this????

Today I will be setting up a live trap...I will kill any coon caught in it or that cat.

That looks like a dog attack for sure IMO

I've had some predators, but I'd have to say, none leave marks like that, unless you have bear. Dog I'd say? Cat wouldn't scratch that deep or high up, nothing else would bother scratching as far as wild animals, doubt coon either. Sorry for your loss.
And good you have a trail cam, I use one.
