what kind of predator makes this print

90% certain it is opossum, I saw places around the prints where a rat-like tail had been dragging. Trap was set two nights in a row but the opossum won't go in it. First night pork chops, second night can catfood, will try fruit tonight but I think this guy knows about traps. Will he eventually get tired of not getting in to the chickens and just give up and go away?

create a funnel using sticks and stuff. camoflauge it with leaves. It actuley helps ALOT. They love black berries, and roteserised chicken

thanks, I have set the trap every night this week without catching the critter and didn't think it would be this hard - more of an art than a science I guess. I will try the camo idea and hopefully tonight will be the night. thanks again!
