Hi, I'm new to the forums, and I usually just look, but I recently got some 109 eggs on ebay, about 60 have hatched so far, but they were supposed to be jumbo brown. Last time I got jumbo brown they were all brown with black stripes. This time they look like this:

Can you please tell me the names of the breeds, or if they're mixed.
Also I got these from old_tradtion_ways on ebay.
I'm not mad or anything, just super surprised. The eggs were well packed

PS: not sure if I added image correctly

Incase you cant see the pic, some are yellow with thin black stripes, some are all yellow, some are yellow with black spots(some on head, others on back)and then some are the normal brown w/black stripes.
Thanks

Look like Coturnix Quail to me..

Looks like you have
A&Ms in the mix (yellow ones)
Along with a possibility of Goldens..(lighter striped ones.)
Browns (darker striped ones_

Even though all the colors have different names. They are all the same breed of quail. But lots of people seperate the colors till they breed true. Eggs must have game from a mixed flock. Or the parent came from a mixed flock.

But I am no expert. Ive only raised one batch of Coturnix..

The solid yellow/white chicks are English Whites. They will look like this:

Yellow with dark stripes are Goldens:

And since you had the Browns/wild before I'm sure you know what they will look like.

Beautiful chicks!!!! Good luck with them.

I have jumbo brown eggs from him that are due to hatch sunday. I hope they are browns and not a assorted. Did you contact him and let him know that he sent you the wrong eggs? He has auctions on ebay for both assorted and browns.
