I would say he is of the "Handsome" variety. Fine looking rooster. I have looked all through Storey's book and can't find anything like him.

poultrykeeper, they can and do use Wyandotte Hens with a RIR rooster for red-sex link crosses.

Here's a link showing different ways a sex-link rooster can be marked. These all have single combs but there are some that have the comb your bird has. I just can't find it through google as of yet...

I still say red Laced Cornish. The comb is the right type. The face has that distinct look that you see in Cornish. The body type is right, those heavy legs, tight hard feathers all say Cornish to me.

I'd say cornish too. I thought sexlink roos were mostly white with a little red in the wing and his comb is wrong for sexlink?

Welp Hatchery as a pic of a cornish and he looks really close to it.
Ok now that I think I know what he is. Is it a good roo to have? Never had a cornish before.
