Can anyone identify this crazy breed?

I want to say either gold brabanter or gold appenzeller spitzhauben, but I'm not sure how to tell those breeds apart, so hopefully someone who knows will pop in :)

Here and here are some pictures of each breed.

First is brabanter, second is spitzhauben :)

After poking around a bit, I'm leaning toward gold brabanter. Does this rooster look pretty much like yours? He's a gold brabanter.

To me, your rooster looks like a pretty mixed breed. However, I'm not entirely familiar with the breeds Pyxis suggested, so he could definitely be one of them.

My first guess would be that he is just a mixed breed. He is very handsome, however!

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! X3 they could be hatchery quality Brabanters, some of the big hatcheries like Ideal sell them.
