What kind of silkie is this?

looks like a splash crossed with another breed crossed back to a silkie. lots of regular feathers, not to many silkied ones. it's probably not a pure silkie. pretty boy, though

Thanks....we bought him at a sale about a month ago. We thought he is a pretty lad too

ohhh yeah really pretty! I have no clue when it comes to distinguishing silkies

most likely a mix, for a number of reasons. One thing is the bright red comb and large wattles, not very silky-ish.
