What kind of sweet treats do YOU make for Christmas?

they vary year to year but the items that never change are:

chocolate fudge
toffee crunch
frosted christmas cookies
peanut butter cups
chocolate chip cookies - this item is not exclusive to Christmas but it is an item I am known for and is usually expected of me at any gathering.

I usually make hard tack candy but It's a little late to start this year so.........making whatever I can in 4 days.

I've seen them this year in the grocery. I think it was at an IGA.

I've been really busy in the kitchen as of late, and here's a list of what I have so far:

-Sugar cookies with a chocolate Hershey's 'Kiss' in the center.
-Soft sugar cookies of a different recipe, decorated with frosting.
-Spritz cookies of many shapes.
-Red Velvet Sandwich cookies.
-Chocolate truffles in almond, orange, and fudge flavor.

And last but not least, Russian Tea cakes...

There was an IGA in our neighborhood. Maybe it was an IGA thing.

Yes, I miss them too. Didn't they also have a Santa version?

I've been making biscotti and rusks. I will make Jule Kage, and Krum Kake and macaroons, and maybe some fudge or chocolate chip cookies.

I'm having friends over Christmas Eve, and the dessert part of the menu is: cheese cake, some apple dessert, chocolate mousse filled phyllo shells, macaroons, pecan tassies, and maybe lemon tarts.

I'm doing the best parts of dinner: appetizers and dessert. I'm expecting 12-14 adults and a like number of children.
