What kind of worms are these? (Pics are yucky)

The mushy brown thing was a soft shell, not a half-digested worm.
I've never incubated nor hatched eggs after worming, I cant help you in that regard. Chicks can be wormed starting at 5 weeks old IF they are reared on soil.

Generally, there's a 14 day withdrawal period after the last worming. We eat the eggs after worming with Safeguard or Valbazen. I'm still here typing after all these years. There is minute residue in the eggs. If you think that you or someone else might have a reaction to the residue in the eggs, toss the eggs in the garbage for 14 days.

Thank you so so much. Got the Safeguard at TSC (then found it at an Amish hardware store cheaper, figures!) . We’ll see how it goes. I did find a soft shell egg in the coop this morning, so maybe the chick ate it and it disagreed with her. Gonna deworm her anyway, just in case. Coccidiasis is likely, the other 2 in the brooder (staggered hatch, had to rescue them) definitely have very stinky poo.

EDIT: Oops, thought you said 5 days old for safe deworming, not 5 weeks. 😊 Guess Mommy’s poo will have to do.

I still need to know if the eggs are safe for hatching, I have a customer waiting on hatching eggs. Anyone know before I give my girls the fenbendazole? Just did the boys and Broody Mom.
I have personally hatched eggs while giving Valbazen as a wormer. No noticeable change in hatch rate. I would expect the same results with safeguard
