Well we went to Wal-Mart and all they had was Vanilla Yogurt and other flavors, but no plain. I can never find plain yogurt at Wal-Mart it is always sold out. So will the Vanilla be okay??
I also got some electrolytes and Vita-Sol for them. Anything else to make sure they stay healthy??

I had had the same experience...not happy with yogurt...but bought 36 crickets yesterday and my 26 baby peeps gobbled them down in less than 30 seconds! Hilarious!!

How old are your babies??
They were born on March 29th and April 4th. So roughly 2-3 weeks old.
I tried plain greek yogurt but my girls wouldn't have it. I read someone here said they mix feed in with the yogurt to get the chicks to eat it. I need to try that.
I give my girls plain organic yogurt. I find it in a big tub on the bottom shelf below all the Yoplait little containers. I have never given it to them as chicks. (Not for any particular reason, just never thought to I guess.) My big girls love it though - not sure if they smell it when I bring it outside or they have learned my high pitched "chicken yogurt!" call
My honey just shakes his heads at me but they always come running!
Another idea is to warm it up and put quick cooking oats in it. You don't actually cook the oats, but the warm yogurt soaks into it well. I make my own yogurt and do that. For some reason, they aren't all that crazy over plain yogurt but LOVE it mixed with oatmeal.
