What little things make you happy?

The sunlight reflected on the water in the swimming pool, watching the baby chicks enjoy green grass for the first time, the smell/sound of rain (which we haven't had in weeks), and a nice warm cup of coffee on a chilly morning.

The sound of a light rain on a tin roof
The smell of fresh cut hay
My dogs getting "giddy", when I return from work

Sour, I'll try to hold down the noise!

having a day to kick back, put my feet up and get a good shoulder neck rub from the wife or kids. I could die happy

SO many little things make me happy. I like the small things over the big things mostly.

walking up the hill at night and seeing my cottage lit up inside and knowing it's mine,

butterflies dancing from flower to flower (bumblebees too)

when elderly people sing (or hold hands)

sitting on my deck and being surrounded by green trees.

waking up and finding a kitty wrapped up in my arm like a teddy bear...

birch trees

dandelions

daisies

watching animals play, could be my cats, or chipmunks chasing each other on my rock walls, or deer in a field.

the smell of home cooking

smiling at a grumpy stranger and seeing their face change and forget for a minute whatever was on their mind

the very first green things that sprout out of the snow after a long winter

watching the song birds at my feeders

walking in the woods

watching children be introspective when they think no one is watching

When my children have the belly laughs! It is music to my ears! I know they are growing up happy.

What pretty things everyone is saying! Isnt it wonderful to live in a world where such little things make us so happy? Life is a beautiful thing!

The feeling of a freshly shaved head. (My own)

My girlfriends perfume.

Seeing one of my patients walking after a stroke.

The smell of sage on the prairie.

A stringer full of catfish

Watching my rooster find a tasty treat and calling to his girls to come eat it.

Walking in the woods and catching glimpses of wildlife.

The change of seasons, keeps things fresh.

Finding eggs in random places.

County fair vegetable exhibits.

Looking at and feeling dirt, especially when traveling (always trying to espy a unique rock or fossil)
