Due to plentiful spring rains, the north Texas roadsides are covered with beautiful native wildflowers. Bluebonnet, Indian Paintbrush, Blanket Flower, Primrose, Vetch, Yarrow, Phox, Vebena, Black-eyed Susan, Bee Balm and many other species. This year is one of the best wildflowers seasons I've ever seen. It's an absolute joy to travel the roads and admire the colorful roadsides.

I've been thinking the past couple of weeks I need to do so, especially since the color and varieties keep getting prettier every week. There is more abundant rain every day in the 7 day forecast, so roads should be beautiful for at least 2 more weeks.
