DId you deglaze the pan and make gravy? That's a little holiday magic I've learned this year that's simplified my life!

I made turkey without stuffing inside. Instead, I put 4 lemon halves and 8 pieces of onion. The turkey pan had about 3" of lovely juice in it that made a fantastic gravy. And there was nothing baked on.

Grubby boy moved out today while I wasn't home. I had to spend an hour cleaning muddy footprints off of the halls and stairs, then another hour cleaning mold off of the window in his room and cleaning the floor, baseboards, switch plates and parts of the wall that he obviously touched many times with grubby hands but never once with a cleaning product.

I'll have to do some paint touch up tomorrow, but the room will be ready to rent out again after that.

Thai curry is amazingly good with quail. I've made it before with chicken, but the quail tastes way better. I love days when I make cooking videos. Eating the results is the best part!
