It's my son's 5th birthday. We went to a state park, enjoyed a small waterfall, played in the water, and went for a walk. I'm so grateful for my boy.

Went out to eat dinner with a friend. Enjoyed it as usual. When we got home, my front yard had the entire feral flock scratching- they didn’t even run when the car drove up or when I got out.

Talked with my sister-in-law for almost 2 hours on the phone!

I had a revelation about how to easily expand the coop.

And finally got peaches from the tree I was going to cut down. It's about 10 years old, and the peaches are always eaten by ants and squirrels before they ripen. This is only the second crop to fully ripen. Maybe chickens have something to do with the lack of ants and squirrels???
