What made you happy today?

Nah, that is just her hay box. It’s always under the tree now

We brought home a new kitten for the kids for Christmas today and I’m just in love with her! I have had cats my whole life and been without one for almost 5 years.

I love her! I lost my ragdoll about two months ago, and I eventually want to get another.

Thank you!! I am sorry to hear you lost your baby. This is my first ragdoll, but everything I have read about them makes me happy. :) I had a gorgeous Himalayan that was like a stuffed animal and LOVED to be loved, and my daughter was so upset when we lost him. So I'm hoping she will be a good replacement. I am just obsessed with her, she is so pretty and sweet and so far standing up to the dogs pretty well for only 9 weeks! I have missed having a kitty! :)

Another girl is laying!

I'm not sure if it's the third pullet, or if it's one of the hens. Both have red combs and wattles. I *think* the shell color is lighter than the hens have made, and my third pullet is a Jubilee Orp, and the only Orp I have, so maybe....? Is 52 grams out of line for a first egg from an Orp?

I might be haunting the nesting box tomorrow to see who it is. :wee

You could try putting some food coloring on their vents so that the egg would be colored. Might be easier and faster than staking out the boxes all day :lau

True, but what's the fun in that? :lau Going for eggs is like getting up on Christmas morning. Oooo! What will I find?!

Very true!! Sometimes it’s best and more fun to just do some good old fashioned detective work 😂🤣🥰
