Watching for the first time ever chicks hatch from our own flock in a Hovabator.

Cleaning my quail chick brooder smells all nice and looks clean. Too bad tomorrow it will be full of again

Today is my 1 month anniversary on BYC.

I have learned so much from everyone here in such a short period of time. Our second flock will have a much better life than our first flock, due in no small part to the members here at BYC. I've received such invaluable input and advice on my threads, and other peoples' threads have been amazing resources as well.

So, what made me happy today is reflecting on how wonderfully helpful this website and its users are. I'm so glad I decided to join.

Seeing all the chicks that were hatched this weekend doing well in the outdoor brooder. All survived their first night out after coming out of the incubators Sunday morning.
