I got to spend time with my girls today! One of my Bielefelders, I call her “Red” jumped into my lap, faced away from the treats and snuggled right in. If that doesn’t make your heart happy, nothing will. Red is my avatar for the forum. She is just a squawking sweetheart!

Hi, may I ask what kind of camera did you get? How are you connected it to your network? My coop and run are 100’ away from the house. My WiFi doesn’t reach that far. I have a blink camera facing towards the coop and run, but can not see into the run.

I got the Arlo camera and its thru Wi-Fi as well. I was worried too if it would reach or not but it does! I was just going to add a Wi-Fi extender if it hadn’t worked.

Pip and Squeak are more "blonde," and Sunny and Robin are more "red" colored. Here's a picture of Pip at 5 weeks:

I ordered 3 Bielefelders, got 4. She was an extra. I was afraid that she was a) not a Bielefelder, and b) a cockerel, since there are several breeds that have the "chipmunk" look at hatch.

Nope! My little Pippy is a very nice pullet who lays eggs now.

What made me VERY happy just now: Button laid an egg IN THE NEST BOX! She's been dropping them in the run, on the floor, just wherever.
