Walking around the house with DH and deciding where to plant more daffodils in my "ring of fire," and then walking in the flower garden with him and seeing that most of the lilies we planted last fall survived and will likely bloom next spring. We pretty much only plant things the deer and chickens and rabbits will leave alone, hence mostly flower bulbs. Which make me very happy!
