Peppermint stick ice cream. The grocery outlet had it in stock (I don't care if it's from last Christmas, it's my favourite flavour).

To make ice cream last longer in the freezer, you can wrap plastic wrap over it then put the lid back on. Helps to keep the ice crystals away

I forgot about this thread! What made me happy today was most of the people I waved at on my run waved back at me. Usually my route (just on the back roads near my house) isn't too busy, but it's cherry picking season now, so I saw probably 20-30 cars in the three mile stretch. I make it my mission to wave at all of them, and I love it when they wave back. I even got a couple thumbs up from some teenage boys

What will make me happy today is if we get a decent amount of rain. A quarter inch or more would be a "decent amount." Preferably on the more side.

We live on a rural road here in NJ. Walkers, joggers, drivers, motorcyclists all wave if I happen to be on/near the road. Bicyclists rarely wave?

Yesterday we saw a great movie and dinner at the Peasant Pub - it was a really great day.

I am a bit stoked. My Kid, who is going to be a Senior this year, has indicated that he wants to study Theology in college, and is thinking about going into the ministry. He still has an interest in computer programming and has not decided which will be his major. Either way, Grandma is pleased.
