Yesterday the Princess came home from the casino with $1,000 in winnings.

It is. The teller called over the mortgage expert to assist, as she explained that they "don't do a lot of these".

Got a third at the field trial today with my male pup. Judging was a bit ?, but honest.

I'm done with canning tomatoes!

I might make some mild salsa out of the green ones still in the garden, might make some tomato jam out of the last few ripe ones.

But I might be done with canning!

This was yesterday's happiness: got all the piles of paperwork cleared off my dining room table! Free at last, free at last! It all fit neatly in a shoebox too!

Got a fourth in the b*tch class at the club licensed field trial today.

It's cooled down, and I'm dehydrating some cherry tomatoes.

Caught my pullet laying her third egg so now I can say for certain who the very first layer in the flock is! Only 18 more to go, it should be interesting trying to figure out who laid what egg. A task that needs to be executed before spring when I plan to hatch some 100% home grown chicks!

Also had some success in my trial run of tomato soup, it was perfectly tasty unlike the first try. I think I'll see about canning some with the last of my sauce tomatoes.
