I am beyond happy with the weather

I just thought the stink eye my turkey was giving my chicks put a smile on my face lol. And this little guy. He’s a Easter eggar bantam mix, and he’s just so adorable lol

For the little (or not so little) things in life that make you happy. I'll start with two things that made me happy today.

Today, my roommate got slushies delivered and surprised me with a cotton candy slushy.

My new company got our MSA (Master Service Agreement) and SOW (Statement of Work) from our lawyers, so we're all set legally when we sign new clients.

My friend and I kinda drifted apart. We live in different states. I was worried I didn't know if something happened to him. Now after a year we're back to talking again

I got a new pressure cooker today!
Didn't want an Instant Pot, wanted an old-fashioned, simple pressure cooker. My old one needed a pressure knob and new gasket, but so old they don't make parts for it any more. Got a new one, 4-qt., for $34! Can set it and forget it. Cook beans in under an hour, a chicken in ... I dono, 30 minutes or so? Can't wait to try it out!

The beautiful weather has made me happy lately

We're getting "soaking rain" here, not the downpour we feared, from Francine. Supposed to last through Saturday and taper off into Sunday. Nice break from the dry-to-drought we've been experiencing ... but then, I'm not a farmer. They've been working around the clock to get in the harvest before she got here.

I’ve been at my first job for only 2 weeks and I’m already being promoted.

Made chicken soup in my new pressure cooker and it's delicious. GC helped me cut it up. It was one of our CornishX from this spring.

Made and canned 8 quarts of beef veggie soup, have two different kinds of peppers in the dehydrator, cleaned one of my bathrooms, and did some laundry. I'm beat
