BYC meetup! Met @Isadora and her family. They were wonderful people(of course) and it was just a really good visit

2 things, my performance review at work went really well and I got a 3% raise

I also found a buncha discounted produce and I think imma make stuffed grilled acorn squash and eggplant parmesan

I'm also happy that I've found myself eating slightly healthier than I have been. I've been finding myself eating out more than I'd like. Cooking at home is cheaper and more satisfying. If I go to McDonald's I need at least one of those 5 buck combos with a burger, fries and nuggets whereas just one of my homemade burgers leaves me quite full and it's only maybe a third of the price (and tastes better). I try to eat fairly healthy but I've been a bit lazy lately lol

Finally got the oven we lost during the power surge replaced.

Just met with the insurance adjuster, and all expenses incurred because of the power surge will be covered.
