One of my chickens, Squeak, sat on my lap for quite awhile, and even put up with me stroking her feathers very lightly for a few minutes.

I am happy today because....
I am preparing a birthday party for my feather granddaughter's birthday, she is Adzuki is turning 1, lay 7 eggs a week, escape artist, and very independent, she is a pal pal with my Silver Laced Wyandottee - Goldie and that is a big thing because Goldie is a loner.

Party food : blueberries, small cut vegetables with corn, banana, yogurt mixed mince garlic and sardine. Also spaghetti strings they think it is worms.

I am happy to get down the shop to get yogurt.

Party time!!

Summer's dead in New England! I don't trust it though... it could be like one of those horror movies where the bad guy keeps popping back up at the end.
