Getting some groceries before the mess the meteorologists are predicting gets here on Monday made me happy.

Not losing power when we get the 50 mph winds they're forecasting Monday WILL make me happy.

Merida, my Speckled Sussex hen, 3 yo? squatted for me today, and held the position while I scratched her back and told her what a good and beautiful girl she is. This is only the 2nd time any of my girls have squatted for me, so it made me very happy.

Yeah, it's gonna get nasty for Michigan. My sister and family are heading to their cabin in the UP tomorrow(Sunday). They are leaving very early, to get there before anything hits. Brother in law is excited to do more snowmobiling.

We still have tomorrow to do our shopping, according to the weather prignosticators. Not sure if we're getting snow but we're in for some bitter COLD, 21° Monday morning. At those temps the fog can freeze and slick up the roads!
