What made you happy today?

Mom made this pork today...
" Cantonese Char Siu "
It's for Pork Fried Rice.

When she pulled it out of the oven, we both cut off "a little taste". Then another.
It did not make it to the Fried Rice stage.
So juicy, so tender (that's a plastic knife I was cutting easily with!) and the seasoning is AMAZING!
Better than the Pork in Fried Rice at a restaurant.

Mom learned this recipe from videos online made by a Cantonese lady. I can't wait to try her other dishes! It took us almost two weeks to gather all the ingredients, there were so many and some needed ordering in, a bit pricey too, but they will last a long time. And make me lots of yummy food. :bow
