I'm the one who's always asking for help. Believe me, us penguin sized people don't want to ask for help but really appreciate when we get it. It's either ask for help or climb the shelves1 - It rained!
2 - I got to drive in the rain, which I love.
3 - I used a raincoat and an umbrella. So rare.
4 - Someone asked me for help getting an item off the top shelf in the grocery store. I'm tall and this always makes me happy, to help someone.

I had not.
I will usually look for some long item for sale nearby to knock stuff forward from high up shelves. That is, if climbing doesn’t work.I carry a cane. I call it my Magic Stick. Great for knocking items down off the top shelf. I also have a tall DH. And no, I don't mind when short ladies ask to borrow him.
