A couple of things .... first, this .... this is Ryder, my GC's emo dog, enjoying the white stuff as he does batte with a vicious stick ..

... and then all that my DH did today so I would not have to go out in the cold. He went out and checked for/ gathered eggs about 8 times so they would not freeze ... he took sheets of cardboard and tacks and covered a window in the coop that was letting in blowing snow. Don't worry, he didn't compromise the ventilation situation! He's just the absolute best!
